Washington Commanders vs. Miami Dolphins

At this point, it’s unlikely we’ll see Jayden Daniels again this season. Washington is currently 3-7 and 1-4 on the road this season. With Marcus Mariota under center, the offense has really struggled to take off. Plus, the defense has been terrible, especially in the secondary. The Commanders have shown nothing over the last month and could end up being one of the worst teams in the NFL this season.

Ironically, they’ll take on the Miami Dolphins, who made a trade at the deadline and fired their general manager a week before. That Dolphins team has won two of its last three and just knocked off Buffalo at home, 30-13. The Dolphins have had a rough season, but now they’re 3-7 and clearly haven’t given up on the season.

Miami made plays when it needed to the most. There’s momentum with the Dolphins - none with the Commanders.

With this game in Madrid, Spain, let’s back Miami -2.5.

Pick: Dolphins -2.5 (-105)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Buffalo Bills

I just mentioned that the Bills scored only 13 points in a 30-13 loss to the Dolphins last week. The Bills have had multiple embarrassing losses this season, but last week’s game against the Dolphins takes the cake.

That said, the Bills are still 6-3 and have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in Josh Allen. Before losing to the Dolphins, the Bills scored 28 points against the Chiefs and 40 points against the Panthers. I wouldn’t overreact too much to the Bills losing that game to the Dolphins. After all, it was a divisional game. Weird things happen in divisional games.

This weekend, the Bills will battle the Buccaneers, who are in the NFC. It’s not a divisional game. Plus, the Buccaneers have lost two of their last three games. The lone win in the previous three games was against the New Orleans Saints, who were making a quarterback change.

With Bucky Irving still out, the Bucs have struggled to run the football, averaging only 98.13 rushing yards per game. The Bills average 161.50 rushing yards per game. They’re the more balanced offense. In addition, the Bills have allowed fewer points per game, while giving up only 169.88 yards in the air per game.

Let’s take the Bills to secure the 5.5-point cover over the Buccaneers.

Pick: Bills -5.5 (-110)
