NFL Week 13 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

In my Week 12 article, I was wrong about the Giants and Cowboys game. I suggested taking the Giants at +7, and now they’re sitting at +10 after losing to the Lions. On the other hand, the Cowboys dominated the Vikings, 40-3. I didn’t see that coming.

You win some and lose some.

My other two suggested bets were the Ravens at -4 and the Bengals/Titans at Under 43. Those bets have moved in our favor, with the Ravens sitting at 42.5.

If we win two of three bets, that’s still profit.

Anyway, here are my thoughts for Week 13 in the NFL.

Tennessee Titans vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Green Bay Packers on primetime.

You know how primetime games go. Anything can happen. The Packers knocked off the Cowboys earlier this season and can easily do the same to the Philadelphia Eagles, who haven’t played their best football over the last couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, the Titans have the Bengals at home this week. They’re listed at +1.5. If the Titans pull off the home upset and the Eagles put up an underwhelming performance against the Packers, the Titans’ line will move in our favor.

Grab the Titans at +6.5 on the road.

Bet: Titans +6.5  (-115)

Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans

It pains me to say this, but Deshaun Watson will likely start for the Browns in Week 13 against the Texans.

The Browns are only -6 against the Texans on the road. But Watson hasn’t played a single regular season game in years. He’s going to be a bit rusty against his former team. Houston will sell out their stadium to rain down the boos on Watson.

No matter what Houston does this week against the Dolphins, it’ll not affect the line this week. They’re already nearly two-touchdown underdogs.

But the Browns could certainly lose at home to the Buccaneers.

Back the Texans at +6. The public might back Cleveland, but sharp money will pour in on Houston at home.

Bet: Texans +6 (-110)

Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants

What if the New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving and then lured Odell Beckham Jr. back to New York to be the number one wideout?

Would the Giants be underdogs to the Commanders at home?

I don’t think so.

The Giants were terrible against the Detroit Lions last week. But I’ve watched enough of the Giants this season to know that they’ll put up a fight against an inconsistent Dallas Cowboys team.

Plus, Washington could only hurt their probability chances with a loss to the Falcons this weekend. The Commanders are 4.5-point favorites at home. If they lose, the Commanders look bad. If they win, it was supposed to happen.

Back the Giants as 1-point underdogs. They’ll be favorites when this game kicks off.

Bet: Giants +1 (-110)
