Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens struggled against the New York Jets. The Ravens won 23-10, but Lamar Jackson put together one of his worst performances of his career in Baltimore against a two-win Jets team.

Meanwhile, the Bengals fell to 3-8 with a 26-20 loss to the Patriots. Yet Cincinnati’s defense battled early in the game, giving the Bengals a chance to win that one. Ultimately, there was talk about Joe Burrow being active for the Bengals on Sunday. Eventually, the Bengals didn’t activate him, but that could mean they’re giving him a few more days to prepare for the Ravens on Thanksgiving Day.

Tee Higgins left Week 12’s contest with a concussion. It’s doubtful he’ll play on Sunday, but Ja’Marr Chase will be back after a one-game suspension.

If the Bengals want to work some magic to close out the season, they’ll need to win almost every game remaining on the schedule. They’re in a weak AFC North as the Ravens and Steelers are both 6-5 and lead the division. I’ll take my chances with the Bengals at +7 in a late-night Thanksgiving rivalry matchup.

Pick: Bengals +7 (+100)

Arizona Cardinals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It sounds like Baker Mayfield will miss some time with a shoulder injury. The veteran quarterback injured it in Sunday’s game against the Rams, and it’s unlikely he’ll play this upcoming week. Teddy Bridgewater will likely get the start. He’s a veteran, but he’s also someone who has been in and out of the league and hasn’t had consistent success since his major injuries.

On the other hand, the Cardinals competed against the Jaguars last week with Jacoby Brissett. He made some big throws in crunch time. But Arizona hasn’t scored more than 24 points in each of its previous four losses. The Buccaneers could get Bucky Irving back to give the running back room some juice. But with Bridgewater under center, it’s hard to bet on the Buccaneers right now, especially when coming off a huge 31-7 beatdown last night.

Ultimately, we’ll have two backup quarterbacks playing in this one. Neither offense is very exciting. Plus, both teams have lost four of their last five games and are trending in the wrong direction.

Once the Mayfield news broke, the total dipped from 48.5 to 45.5. The under still makes sense.

Pick: Under 45.5 Points (-110)
