NFL Week 14 Confidence Pool Advice, Picks & Predictions (2023)
We had another successful week with our confidence selections. We’re heading to the final stretch of the NFL season. Let’s try to pull away even more from the competition.
We’ve gone 120-73 and are ranked inside the top 15,000 people on ESPN with over 1,000 points. Let’s keep going!
NFL Confidence Pool Picks
(1) Browns | Jaguars vs. Browns
With Trevor Lawrence’s availability in question, I like the Browns at home. Dorian Thompson-Robinson remains in concussion protocol, but it’s probably more likely he’ll be ready by game time. If not, Joe Flacco already has a game under his belt now.
(2) Raiders | Vikings vs. Raiders
The Vikings are coming off a brutal loss to the Chicago Bears, where Joshua Dobbs threw four interceptions. We don’t know who will start for the Vikings. But Las Vegas at home won’t be easy.
(3) Chiefs | Chiefs vs. Bills
This is always a fun rivalry between the Chiefs and Bills. However, the Bills have lost many close games against big-time opponents. This one won’t be different on the road in Kansas City.
(4) Buccaneers | Buccaneers vs. Falcons
The Falcons might get comfortable after two straight losses to the Saints and Jets. But that’s not really impressive. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay’s last three losses came against playoff squads. They’ll return to form after last week’s win against the Panthers.
(5) Colts | Colts vs. Bengals
I was impressed by Jake Browning on Monday night. But the Colts have won four straight games and have been playing much better defense.
(6) Broncos | Broncos vs. Chargers
The Chargers earned a 6-0 win over the Patriots last weekend. Good luck holding the Broncos to no points.
(7) Cowboys | Eagles vs. Cowboys
The Eagles escaped the Cowboys on their home field. Now it’ll be Dallas’ turn to run the Eagles on their home field. Dallas is hard to beat at AT&T Stadium.
(8) Packers | Packers vs. Giants
The Giants could start Tyrod Taylor despite Tommy DeVito’s recent success. That would be a mistake.
(9) Ravens | Rams vs. Ravens
Baltimore is a 7-point favorite with four wins in their last five games. The Rams have also been red-hot and are in the playoff race. However, Los Angeles is dealing with many injuries on the offensive end.
(10) Steelers | Patriots vs. Steelers
The Steelers have won three of their last four games, holding opponents to no more than 19 points in four of the previous five games. The Patriots won’t even come close to 19 points. They’re 2-10 and have no reliable quarterback.
(11) Lions | Lions vs. Bears
The Bears already lost to the Lions, 31-26, a couple of weeks ago. They responded with 12 points against the Vikings despite earning four interceptions. Chicago’s not a threat offensively.
(12) 49ers | Seahawks vs. 49ers
The Niners already earned a 31-13 win on Thanksgiving Day. After a major win over Philadelphia, it’s clear that San Francisco is the best team in the NFL.
(13) Saints | Panthers vs. Saints
The Saints’ offense could improve with Jameis Winston at quarterback.
(14) Texans | Texans vs. Jets
The Jets are potentially looking to start Zach Wilson again. We all saw that coming. It’s looking like a disconnect between the coaching staff, after all. Back the Texans.
(15) Dolphins | Titans vs. Dolphins
There’s no stopping the Dolphins’ offense on their home field.
