NFL Week 2 Confidence Pool Picks & Predictions (2025)

In Week 1, I finished with a 12-4 record and 117 points on ESPN’s Pick’em. That’s good for a rank of 11,898, and it’s in the 87th percentile.

That was a solid start, but let’s continue climbing the leaderboard. Here are my NFL Week 2 confidence pool picks for this week’s games.

NFL Week 2 Confidence Pool Picks

(1) Bears | Bears vs. Lions

Neither team impressed much in Week 1. However, the Bears have a better overall defense. That’ll be the difference.

(2) Jaguars | Jaguars vs. Bengals

It’s been another poor start to the season for the Bengals. Yes, Cincinnati won. No, they didn’t deserve to win.

(3) Colts | Broncos vs. Colts

The shocker of the season is Daniel Jones with this Colts offense. He looked tremendous. Maybe it really was the Giants stunting his growth.

(4) Steelers | Seahawks vs. Steelers

I’m a little scared for the Steelers’ defense. But I won’t panic yet. The Steelers couldn’t prepare as well in Week 1 against Justin Fields and the Jets’ new regime.

(5) Texans | Buccaneers vs. Texans

It took Baker Mayfield a long time to figure it out against the Falcons last weekend. Houston’s defense is going to finish the year at the top of many statistics.

(6) Chargers | Chargers vs. Raiders

This could be an offensive shootout, but I like the Chargers to edge out a win.

(7) Packers | Commanders vs. Packers

Green Bay appears to be a complete team. Just remember that Micah Parsons didn’t even get a large amount of reps last weekend for the Packers.

(8) Eagles | Eagles vs. Chiefs

The Eagles will have one more day to prepare and don’t have to travel to Brazil. Philadelphia will dominate, even on the road.

(9) Vikings | Falcons vs. Vikings

J.J. McCarthy will continue to get more comfortable and confident. The Vikings will be fine with him under center.

(10) Rams | Rams vs. Titans

The Titans are going to have some growing pains on offense.

(11) Bills | Bills vs. Jets

This can be a super high-scoring game. But Buffalo will find a way, just like it did against the Ravens.

(12) Patriots | Patriots vs. Dolphins

I’ve said this before the season, and I’ll continue to say it. The Dolphins could be the worst team in the NFL this year. It definitely looked that way in Week 1.

(13) 49ers | 49ers vs. Saints

The 49ers are dealing with many injuries, including to Brock Purdy. George Kittle’s absence will hurt, but it won’t hurt San Francisco’s chances of winning on Sunday. Just monitor Purdy before putting them at 13.

(14)  Cardinals | Panthers vs. Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals aren’t all that. But they’ll start the season with two games against the Saints and Panthers. You won’t see Arizona in the No. 14 spot many more times this year.

(15) Cowboys | Giants vs. Cowboys

I thought the Cowboys competed pretty well against the Eagles last weekend. You can’t say the same about the Giants.

(16) Ravens | Browns vs. Ravens

I don’t think the Ravens should be around -900. But the Ravens are still the biggest favorite on the board. They’ll be the highest confidence team.
