NFL Week 3 Confidence Pool Picks & Predictions (2024)
Although many people have been eliminated from their survivor pools, the fun thing about confidence pools is that you can at least participate throughout the season.
If you followed the first two weeks, you’d be near the top of your pool. We’ve gone 21-11 and currently rank 11,274 in the world on ESPN. Ultimately, we’ve hit 85.4% of picks and called some epic upsets, including the Cardinals over the Rams, Saints over the Cowboys, Packers over the Colts, and the Bills over the Dolphins.
I’d love to get into the top 10,000 in Week 3.
NFL Confidence Pool Picks
(1) Panthers | Panthers vs. Raiders
The Panthers have made the switch at quarterback with Andy Dalton. Don’t be surprised if the Raiders are upset coming off an emotional win last week.
(2) Cowboys | Ravens vs. Cowboys
A bounce-back performance from the Cowboys is in store this weekend.
(3) Cardinals | Lions vs. Cardinals
Despite out-gaining and ultimately out-playing the Buccaneers last weekend, the Lions lost in Week 2. On the other hand, the Cardinals destroyed the Rams from the get-go and looked much improved in Year 2 of Jonathan Gannon.
(4) Eagles | Eagles vs. Saints
The Eagles love to gamble. Sometimes you win some, and sometimes you lose some. They lost one last week, but they’ll be able to win one this week.
(5) Vikings | Texans vs. Vikings
Many people are missing out on the fact that the Vikings might be the best defense in the NFL. On Sunday Night Football, Houston struggled to score against Chicago’s defense in the second half.
(6) Steelers | Chargers vs. Steelers
This should be a fun, low-scoring game. It’s a coin toss. But I’ll stick with the home team.
(7) Bears | Bears vs. Colts
While Caleb Williams is progressing slower than some would like, it’s not like Anthony Richardson is much better. Richardson can make deeper throws, but he’s just as inconsistent.
(8) Packers | Packers vs. Titans
It would be hilarious if Malik Willis started against his former team and won. The team with fewer mistakes would ultimately win this one. Will Levis can’t get out of his own way sometimes.
(9) Seahawks | Dolphins vs. Seahawks
I can’t trust the Dolphins without Tua Tagovailoa.
(10) Bills | Jaguars vs. Bills
The Jacksonville Jaguars have not won a game in 2024.
(11) Chiefs | Chiefs vs. Falcons
Although Hollywood Brown and Isiah Pacheco are injured and out, the Chiefs will still find ways to put up points with Patrick Mahomes under center.
(12) Jets | Patriots vs. Jets
The Jets will be one of those much better teams in the second half. They’ll gradually improve week after week. MetLife should be rocking on Thursday night.
(13) Browns | Giants vs. Browns
The Giants couldn’t even beat the Commanders last week.
(14) 49ers | 49ers vs. Rams
The 49ers will be tested a lot this year, but it won’t be against a Rams team that is missing Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua from their offense.
(15) Buccaneers | Broncos vs. Buccaneers
There’s an argument that the Buccaneers are the best team in the NFL right now.
(16) Bengals | Commanders vs. Bengals
Don’t panic, Bengals fans. These bad starts happen almost every year, and Cincinnati overcomes them nearly every time.
