NFL Week 3 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)
Most of you are looking forward to Week 2 in the NFL. But what if I told you that you could get value on lines for Week 3 this week? Last week, we got the Saints at +160 and the Bengals at +110 for Week 2. We’ve got an incredible amount of value with those selections.
Here are three spots in the NFL where we see some early value for Week 3. We’re looking to be on the right side of the market shifts once Week 2 concludes.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders started the season 1-0 with a win over Jacksonville. In Week 2, the Commanders will face the Detroit Lions. Suppose the Commanders lose to the Lions on Sunday and the Eagles earn a victory over the Minnesota Vikings. In that case, the Eagles will be much heavier favorites against the Commanders for Week 3, despite playing on the road.
The Eagles dropped 38 points on the Lions, and if they can score enough to beat the Minnesota Vikings, they will look like the best team in the NFC East.
Plus, the Commanders will practically start the season against two non-playoff contenders. Bettors will take note of that, ultimately pushing the line to more than -3.

New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers
The New Orleans Saints will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday as an underdog. Historically, the Saints have succeeded against Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New Orleans earned two victories over Tampa Bay last year. If the Saints find a way to beat the Buccaneers in Week 2, they’ll be much bigger favorites headed into Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers are taking on a hyped-up Giants team on the road and are already underdogs for that game. Therefore, the Saints could end up going into this game 2-0 with a win over Tampa Bay, while the Panthers would be 0-2 with losses against the Browns and Giants.
The Saints would be a much larger favorite than -140 next week if that were to happen.

Green Bay Packers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might lose to the Saints, while the Green Bay Packers should get back on track with a win over the Bears. I’m not overly high on the Packers this year, but if the Buccaneers fall to the Saints on Sunday, bettors will look to go against Brady and the Buccaneers in Week 3.
Meanwhile, let’s say the Packers have success throwing the football and get Aaron Jones more involved in the offense against Chicago. The line is going to shift towards the Packers. Davante Adams was a more significant loss than some of us expected. Still, overall, the Packers will get everything sorted out with their younger players and get Allen Lazard back on the offensive end.
I’m not worried about how this offense will perform as the season progresses.
