NFL Week 4 Confidence Pool Picks & Predictions (2024)

After last week’s picks, I said I’d love to get into the top 10,000 on ESPN.

We’re not there, but almost.

On the ESPN Confidence Pick’em, over the first three weeks, we’re 30-18 and have hit 87.3%. We’ve also accumulated 251 points and rank 10,235 after a 9-7 week last week.

I’d still love to crack inside the top 10,000 this week.

NFL Confidence Pool Picks

(1) Ravens | Bills vs. Ravens

The Ravens almost blew a massive lead against the Cowboys last weekend. Yet, they held on and are now 1-2 on the season. That at least adds some momentum for their home game against the Bills this weekend. I’m not confident, but I’ll take the home team.

(2) Giants | Cowboys vs. Giants

The Giants are coming off a significant win, while the Cowboys called each other out in a loss. I’ll take my chances on a short week with the Giants at home.

(3) Falcons | Saints vs. Falcons

It was a great start for the Saints. But expectations were probably way too high heading into that game against the Eagles.

(4) Vikings | Vikings vs. Packers

While Jordan Love is improving daily, it’s likely the Packers will wait one more week to activate him. They’re 2-0 with Malik Willis under center, so they’re confident. But with Sam Darnold healthy and the Vikings’ defense playing lights out, I’m way more confident in the Vikings-even on the road.

(5) Colts | Steelers vs. Colts

Now that the Colts have a healthy WR room look for the offense to start to gel.

(6) Cardinals | Commanders vs. Cardinals

I want to buy into the Commanders’ hype. But let’s not forget that the defense couldn’t keep the Bengals off the field at all, either.

(7) Bears | Rams vs. Bears

If Caleb Williams can limit turnovers and play smart football, I like the Bears to earn the win at home against a banged-up Rams squad.

(8) Eagles | Eagles vs. Buccaneers

This is a revenge game for the Eagles. Lock it in.

(9) Lions | Seahawks vs. Lions

You’ll rarely see me bet against the Lions at home this season.

(10) Bengals | Bengals vs. Panthers

It certainly feels like rock bottom for the Bengals. It can’t get worse, can it?

(11) Titans | Titans vs. Dolphins

As of today, September 25th, Tim Boyle would likely be the starter for the Dolphins. That could change, so keep that in mind, but for now, I’m backing the Titans.

(12) Browns | Browns vs. Raiders

The Browns showed some good offense against the Giants. However, the turnovers and sacks killed them. Look for the Browns to address and fix those issues in time for the road game against Las Vegas.

(13) 49ers | Patriots vs. 49ers

The 49ers are 10-point favorites. It doesn’t matter who is hurt. The Patriots won’t provide enough offense to win this game.

(14) Jets | Broncos vs. Jets

Bo Nix surprised me last weekend. He was super efficient and locked in. But a matchup against the Jets’ defense might set him back slightly.

(15) Chiefs | Chiefs vs. Chargers

It’s unclear how significant Justin Herbert’s injury is. Maybe he plays, but he won’t be 100%.

(16) Texans | Texans vs. Jaguars

Jacksonville hasn’t won a game since 2013.
