NFL Week 5 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2024)
The NFL has been absolute chaos through the first three weeks of the NFL season!
With that in mind, we’ll look to get some early value for Week 5. It won’t be like this forever! Here are three bets you’ll want to consider for Week 5 before Week 4 even starts.

New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings
I rarely like to bet on international games. However, if the Vikings knock off the Packers this weekend, they’ll be undefeated heading into a matchup against the Jets.
Meanwhile, a win from the Jets wouldn’t move the needle against the Broncos. Yes, Denver looks better, with Bo Nix starting to get comfortable. But the Jets are still expected to win that game by a large margin. However, if the Vikings knock off Green Bay on the road, they will unlikely be underdogs by close.
Sam Darnold against his old team. It just doesn’t get any better. Take the Vikings here while they’re still plus money.
Bet: Vikings ML (+102)
Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots
The Miami Dolphins will play a few more games without Tua Tagovailoa. That said, if Miami struggles to find offense against Tennessee this week, they’ll look for a new, reliable quarterback rather than sit and wait with Skyler Thompson and Tim Boyle.
Or maybe Tyler Huntley comes in and does enough for the Dolphins offense. Either way, by this game against the Patriots, the Dolphins should have the backup quarterback situation figured out.
You can find the Dolphins at +2 against the Patriots on the road. But with a reliable quarterback, the Dolphins would be favored.
Bet: Dolphins ML (+110)
Cleveland Browns vs. Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels looks very comfortable with the Commanders. On Monday Night Football, the rookie quarterback rarely missed a throw, pushing the Commanders in scoring position every single drive.
The Commanders will take on the Arizona Cardinals this week as 3.5-point underdogs. But if they play anywhere close to how they did on Monday, the Commanders can truly upset the Cardinals on the road. The offense just needs to be spotless.
Meanwhile, the Browns are coming off a loss against the Giants and now face the Raiders on the road. A loss to the Raiders would certainly hurt Cleveland’s value. Both teams are not playing consistently. However, on paper, Cleveland looks better. But it’s not out of the possibility that they get upset. After all, the Raiders had a win against the Ravens earlier this year.
With a Washington win and a Browns loss in Week 4, the Commanders will be way more than a 1-point favorite.
Bet: Commanders -1 (-110)
