Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Jets

Everyone is down on the Cowboys and Jets offenses heading into Week 4.

The Cowboys have just lost CeeDee Lamb for at least a month due to a high-ankle sprain. Now they’re seven-point underdogs at home against a Packers team that lost to the Browns on the road last weekend. Dallas no longer has Micah Parsons. In fact, he’ll be on the other side. But the defense is still capable of being very good. Dak Prescott is still a solid quarterback and has George Pickens to lead the way in the receiver room. The Cowboys might surprise the Packers at home and score a solid amount of points.

On the other hand, it’s unclear if Justin Fields will return to the field for the Jets this weekend. He’s currently questionable, but if he’s able to go, there’s no question he’ll be the starter for New York. Fields had a rough go against the Bills but looked sensational against the Steelers in Week 1. There’s still potential in this Jets offense, and they can certainly show some improvement against the Dolphins on Monday Night Football.

That’s why I’ll ride the over in this Cowboys-Jets game. Both teams will answer their question marks on offense this weekend.

Pick: Over 46.5 Points (-110)

New York Giants vs. New Orleans Saints

The Giants have decided to name Jaxson Dart as the starter at quarterback for the rest of the season. The rookie will make his first start of his career in Week 4 against the Chargers. Already, Dart has nothing to lose. The Giants are heavy underdogs at home against the Chargers. If he performs poorly, it is expected. If he plays well and helps the Giants defeat the Chargers, he’ll look like the real deal, and the Giants will be way more than -2.5 point favorites against the lowly Saints in Week 5.

Meanwhile, the Saints are facing the Buffalo Bills on the road this weekend. The Bills are currently -15.5 point favorites at home over the Saints. It’s doubtful the Saints stun the Bills. It’s less than a 50% chance that the Saints even lose by less than two touchdowns.

Therefore, back the Giants at -2.5. If Dart and the Giants stun the Chargers at home, they’ll be favorites of way more than -2.5. Meanwhile, if the Giants lose and Dart still shows some promise, bettors could still move this line in favor of the Giants if the Bills absolutely dominate the Saints in Week 4.

Pick: Giants -2.5 (-110)
