NFL Week 6 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

Last week, I suggested picking up the Chargers at -125 for Week 5. They’ve increased their odds to -135 going up against the Cleveland Browns on the road.

There’s also plenty of value a week in advance. If you can do the proper research and break down how each game on Sunday will go, you can find some excellent lines heading into Week 6.

Here are a few lines I’m eying for the Week 6 slate before Week 5 is even played.

NFL Week 6 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs a couple of weeks ago. But that’s their only win. On Thursday Night, they’ll take on the Denver Broncos without Jonathan Taylor in the lineup.

Who knows if he’ll even be ready for the following week against the Jaguars.

In their first meeting this year, the Jags already defeated the Colts, 24-0. Things could get ugly if Indianapolis doesn’t have Taylor in that second game.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars are seven-point favorites against the Houston Texans, and with a win, more money will start to pour on the Jaguars, even on the road, against the Colts. Grab them now.

Bet: Jaguars ML (+115)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers made the change at quarterback. They’re going to sit Mitch Trubisky for first-round pick, Kenny Pickett. Pickett’s NFL debut came against the Jets last week. He had some good throws but ultimately ended up throwing a few interceptions.

Pittsburgh plays Buffalo in Week 5. They’re currently 14-point underdogs. If the Steelers don’t cover that spread on the road, sports bettors will push the Buccaneers over that critical number of -6.5. Tom Brady is going through some things. We get that.

But he’ll have most of his weapons back on the field against Pittsburgh. Grab that key number now.

Bet: Buccaneers -6.5 (-110)

Minnesota Vikings vs. Miami Dolphins

I hate to be that guy. But what if Tua Tagovailoa is back under center for the Dolphins in Week 6? What if Teddy Bridgewater has a ton of success against the Jets in Week 5?

There are multiple ways the Dolphins could start gaining traction against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6.

Minnesota is hot-and-cold, and they’ll take on the Chicago Bears at home this week. That should be a win. But it’s expected. What won’t be expected is Bridgewater having success or Tagovailoa coming back.

The Dolphins still have Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and can play with a veteran quarterback with plenty of starts under his belt. Bridgewater still thinks he’s a reliable quarterback, and if we’ve learned anything from Geno Smith, Bridgewater could still have it in him.

If Bridgewater looks good or Tagovailoa is back, the Dolphins will be much heavier favorites than -120 at home.

Bet: Dolphins ML (-120)
