Washington Commanders vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens continue to play in high-scoring games. Last week, the Ravens finished the Bengals 41-38 in overtime on the road. They also scored 35 points in a win against the Bills and added 28 in a 28-25 win over the Cowboys prior to that game.
There hasn’t been a game in which the Ravens have not scored at least 20 points, and one team has scored at least 26 points in every Ravens game.
On the other hand, something has clicked in Washington. The Commanders have scored 114 points in their last three games against the Bengals, Cardinals, and Browns. Two of those three games were even on the road. But defenses can’t figure out Jayden Daniels, who has still completed more than 77% of his passes this season.
Daniels has also added at least one passing touchdown in each of his last three games. He’s also scored a couple of rushing touchdowns.
Ultimately, he plays just like Lamar Jackson. He’s a fabulous runner, can throw bullets down the field, and makes something out of nothing almost every time.
It’s why this game has the makings of a classic high-scoring matchup that goes back and forth and toe-to-toe. Take the Over 52.
Pick: Over 52 (-105)
Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans
It’s likely the Colts will have Anthony Richardson back against the Titans. On the other hand, as long as Will Levis is healthy, he’ll start for the Titans.
If we’re being honest, both teams would be better with their backups. Yes, Joe Flacco and the Colts lost last week to the Jaguars. But without Jonathan Taylor, the Colts still scored 34 points on the road under Flacco.
Meanwhile, the Titans earned their first win of the season after Mason Rudolph took over for Levis. Levis was taken out due to an injury, but Rudolph hung onto the QB1 position after leading the team on multiple scoring drives.
After Rudolph got the win, the Titans should’ve switched at quarterback. But nope. Head coach Brian Callahan told the media that Levis would be the guy moving forward. This, despite the Titans scoring 31 points with Rudolph under center. Tennessee hadn’t scored more than 17 points in the first three games with Levis under center.
If we get a Richardson-Levis game on Sunday, I’m backing the Under. Both teams would be better with their backups.
Pick: Under 42.5 (-110)
