Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are currently 3-1 and will come off a bye week before playing the Cleveland Browns. While the Steelers allowed 32 points in the first game and another 31 points in the second game, it seems like the defense is starting to figure it out.

Pittsburgh has allowed no more than 21 points in each of its last two games.

On the other hand, the Cleveland Browns have elected to start Dillon Gabriel at quarterback this week. The Browns took an embarrassing loss to the Detroit Lions last week, 34-10, and now must play the Minnesota Vikings in London. Gabriel likely won’t look very solid, especially when he faces Brian Flores’ Minnesota defense.

If Gabriel struggles, it’s very likely the line will move to 6.0 or even 7.0 for the Steelers. Pittsburgh has a bye week to prepare, while the Browns are using a rookie quarterback, who might get exposed against a difficult Minnesota defense.

Let’s take the Steelers at -5.5.

Pick: Steelers -5.5 (-110)

Seattle Seahawks vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Seattle Seahawks appear to have one of the best defenses in the NFL. They’re currently 3-1 on the season, and they haven’t allowed more than 20 points in any game this year. Ultimately, Seattle held the Arizona Cardinals touchdownless until late in the fourth quarter. Seattle excels in special teams and boasts a relentless pass rush that has helped create havoc in the passing game. The run defense has also been very effective.

Seattle is set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. Tampa Bay has competed in every game, but they’ve also been very inconsistent. The Seahawks won’t make it any easier, especially at home.

Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars have a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs at night. The defense will surprise many, especially at home. Of course, the Chiefs are coming off a major win over the Ravens, where the offense was terrific.

However, look at what Jacksonville did last week against the 49ers. The Jaguars forced four turnovers and held the 49ers to just 3.5 yards per carry in a 26-21 win on the road. In the game prior, the Jaguars held the Texans to 10 points in a home win. Jacksonville might be the most underrated defense in the NFL this year.

Consider the Under 45.5. This number could totally shrink by gametime.

Pick: Under 45.5 (-110)
