NFL Week 8 Confidence Pool Picks & Predictions (2024)

We didn’t have the best of weeks last week. We’re currently 64-43 with 562 points and rank 22,858 in ESPN. It’s been a rough previous two weeks, but we’ll look to rise back in Week 8.

Here are my confidence picks for this week’s NFL slate.

NFL Confidence Pool Picks

(1) Bears | Bears vs. Commanders

Although Marcus Mariota played well as Jayden Daniels’ backup, I still have my concerns. The Bears have an elite defense, and Mariota won’t have an easy task if Daniels is out.

(2) Dolphins | Cardinals vs. Dolphins

I’m ready to watch this Miami offense roll again with Tua Tagovailoa back in action.

(3) Eagles | Eagles vs. Bengals

Philadelphia likely feels good after its beatdown on the Giants.

(4) Falcons | Falcons vs. Buccaneers

I don’t know if we’ll get 500+ passing yards from Kirk Cousins again. But I do know that the Buccaneers have lost many of their top receivers entering this game.

(5) Jets | Jets vs. Patriots

If the Jets don’t win this game, cancel the season. Relegate them.

(6) Packers | Packers vs. Jaguars

The Packers are 5-2, yet it doesn’t feel like they’ve been that good. I’ll be cautious with the Packers on the road against a Jaguars team that will be aggressive.

(7) Chargers | Saints vs. Chargers

Don’t expect the Saints to add much offense against this Chargers defense on the road.

(8) 49ers | Cowboys vs. 49ers

The 49ers should get back on track against an even worse Cowboys team.

(9) Vikings | Vikings vs. Rams

Despite last week’s loss against the Lions, The Vikings have proved they’re elite. They’ve got to be excited with a Thursday night game to bounce back from their first loss of the season.

(10) Bills | Bills vs. Seahawks

The Seahawks are too inconsistent to trust weekly.

(11) Texas | Colts vs. Texans

Indianapolis won’t win much with Anthony Richardson at quarterback. It’s that simple.

(12) Chiefs | Chiefs vs. Raiders

It’s always brutal taking the road team in a divisional rivalry game. But c’mon, the Raiders look absolutely pathetic right now.

(13) Steelers | Giants vs. Steelers

Mike Tomlin showed last week why he is paid well to be the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

(14) Ravens | Ravens vs. Browns

While I think the Browns score more under Jameis Winston, they’re not outscoring this Ravens offense.

(15) Broncos | Panthers vs. Broncos

Andy Dalton was in a car crash earlier this week. Fortunately, his and his family are okay. But that certainly won’t help his preparation this weekend.
