NFL Week 8 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2024)
I’m already looking at Week 8 matchups before the Week 7 games even begin. This is one of the best ways to earn +EV bets!
Ultimately, we’ll try to predict Week 7 games and then consider how the lines will change heading into Week 8. For example, I have a Jets +100 bet from last week that is now sitting at -120. The goal is to get as many of these bets as possible throughout the season.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Miami Dolphins
The belief is that Tua Tagovailoa will return as the quarterback of the Miami Dolphins against the Cardinals.
That’s already one reason to put some cash on the Dolphins. However, the Dolphins are also playing the Colts on the road in Week 7. Knowing Anthony Richardson is back under center for Indianapolis, I already like the Dolphins to defeat the Colts on Sunday.
On the other hand, the Cardinals will play a Monday Night Football game against the Chargers. Even at home, the Cardinals are considered underdogs. With one less day of rest and a potential loss for the Cardinals, the Dolphins will look really good on paper.
Take the Dolphins at -2.5 for Week 8.
Bet: Dolphins -2.5 (-110)
New York Jets vs. New England Patriots
The New York Jets are preparing to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night in Week 7. The Jets are just 2-4 but still have playoff aspirations. That was apparent when New York went out and traded for Davante Adams earlier this week. I like the Jets’ chances to knock off the Steelers on the road, with Russell Wilson stealing Justin Fields’ job this week. I don’t think Wilson brings what Fields brings, and that will hurt the Steelers and allow the Jets to win.
On the other hand, the Patriots are coming off a game in London against the Jaguars. Ultimately, if the Patriots lose to Jacksonville on Sunday morning, nobody will want to back them against the Jets the following week.
Bet: Jets -6.5 (-110)
Buffalo Bills vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Bills have a fairly easy matchup in Week 7 against the Titans. Buffalo is a nine-point favorite and expected to crush Tennessee before their matchup against the Seahawks.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are on the road against Atlanta. They’re 3-3 and probably overrated up to this point. The team just had a more manageable schedule to begin the year. With a loss to the Falcons, the Bills will likely jump to -3.5 or higher by the time this kicks off.
Plus, don’t forget Amari Cooper was just traded to Buffalo. This gives Josh Allen another legitimate weapon in the offense, Allen has already produced with limited help from his wide receivers. Imagine how the Bills will play with Cooper as the No. 1 receiver.
Bet: Bills -3 (-105)
