Bills vs. Seahawks
Even at 5-2, I don’t think the Buffalo Bills are an elite team. They have scored 27.50 points per game and allowed 21 points per game. They’ve also given up more than 210 yards in the air and 140.17 yards on the ground.
They’ve fed off of bad teams. The Bills have beat Arizona, Miami, Jacksonville, New York (Jets), and the Titans. But they’ve lost to the Ravens and Texans, both on the road.
The Bills will play another road game against the Seahawks this weekend. Ultimately, the secondary better be ready. Geno Smith has already contributed 276.67 yards in the air per game. The Seahawks have also earned 96.50 yards on the ground. The offense has performed just as well as the Bills. It was only the defense that was the issue during their three-game losing streak, which was snapped last week.
The Seahawks are typically known for having an elite special teams unit and check out in all phases of the game against the Bills. Seattle’s secondary is playing very well after limiting Kirk Cousins and the Falcons to only 230 yards passing. Cousins threw two interceptions last week and was sacked three times. He had a QBR of 43.1.
While Josh Allen does some incredible things, he might struggle to find open receivers throughout the game. I’ll quietly back the Seahawks at +3 (-115).
