It is difficult to make heads or tails of this Saints team, as their perpetual shuffling of the quarterback position and injuries to their skill players has been detrimental in any assessment of their offense. Further, the Saints defense has drastically underperformed expectations, and it is doubtful that the unit can reclaim their esteem of past seasons versus a threatening Raiders offense.

Had the Raiders eked out a victory week 5 in Kansas City, Vegas surely would be favored by more than 1.5 points. This team is surely not as bad as their 2-4 record, feel comfortable backing them to cover the spread in week 8.
