NFL Week 8 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Steelers vs. Eagles

Philadelphia will look to keep their undefeated season alive in an in-state matchup. They’ll stumble eventually, but this won’t be the matchup.

The Steelers haven’t been able to move the ball on the ground against anyone and their 30th ranked DVOA run offense can’t take advantage of a Philadelphia run defense that is vulnerable. The stout pass defense of the Eagles should give rookie Kenny Pickett all kinds of issues and Pittsburgh will continue to struggle to put points on the board.

The Pittsburgh defense has performed pretty well after some rough games to start the year. They’ve moved up to 14th in defensive DVOA and their run defense DVOA is up to 9th. This could be a game where Philadelphia’s running game won’t be as dominant as we’re used to seeing. The under is definitely one to target here.
