NHL Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Projections: Tuesday (2/13)
Each day for the entire 2023-2024 season, we will be providing our favorite player prop bets from the NHL slate. We’ll post our favorite bets in the BettingPros Discord, which is free to join and filled with info from some of the sharpest analysts in the field. Best NHL Plus Money Player Prop Bets
POTD: Frank Vatrano 2+ Points (+350 FanDuel)
There isn’t much that could get me to suggest an Anaheim Duck as the play of the day, but there is one: Cayden Primeau tending goal at home for the Montreal Canadiens. Primeau’s home stats are atrocious: He has a save percentage of .856 and a GAA of 5.09. The splits are so stark that the Habs have basically stopped starting him when they’re in Montreal. (Lest we worry about a small sample size, his home stats are similar for the last three years.) His splits are the worst I’ve seen, and I write this article every day.
Vatrano is projected to shoot a little over four times tonight and collected two points last week against Edmonton, a team with a significantly more stout defense. While I’m tempted to ladder bet his SOG, the +350 odds that he’ll manage two points seem too tasty to pass up.
