Buffalo Sabres vs. New York Islanders

    • Leg 1: Islanders ML (-170)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-115)
    • Leg 3: UNDER 1.5 Total First Period Goals (+115)

The Sabres played a strong game against the Oilers but ultimately came away with a 3-2 loss. They’ve dropped three out of their last four and are struggling at the wrong time as they sit three points behind the final Wild Card Spot.

The problem recently is that the offense isn’t getting much support. In the last ten games, Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner have seven goals, Dylan Cozens has six, but no one else has more than three.

Not a good sign for Buffalo as they play the defensive-minded Islanders. Ilya Sorokin has been fantastic recently, going 4-1-2 and allowing just 1.96 goals per game. This is also due to the blue lines that give no reprieve, including Noah Dobson on the third line with 27 blocks in ten games.

The addition of Bo Harvat is proving to be a great move, as he has five goals in eight games.

Buffalo has been awful on the road against the Islanders by losing ten of their last 11, and they won’t have any luck facing this defense.

Calgary Flames vs. Minnesota Wild

    • Leg 1: Wild ML (-150)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-150)
    • Leg 3: Mats Zuccarello Anytime Goal (+165)

Calgary came away with an upset win in Dallas on Monday night. We were all expecting overtime until Jonathan Huberdeau made a precise pass through the neutral zone to Tyler Toffoli on the move, and he was able to light the lamp with seven seconds left.

That broke the Flames’ five-game losing streak, but the team is still likely out of playoff contention. Dan Vladar will get the start between the pipes, and his only win in his last five games has been against the Coyotes.

Minnesota comes in winning four straight, and it’s thanks to goaltending. The tandem of Marc-Andre Fleury and Filip Gustavsson starting every other game has been working, and together they are allowing 2.62 goals per game and a .918 save percentage.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. New Jersey Devils

    • Leg 1: Devils ML (-135)
    • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-120)
    • Leg 3: OVER 3.5 Total Devils Goals (+100)

The Maple Leafs lineup will look very different tonight. They went out and made a lot of moves during the trade deadline, but they will be missing some of them. Ryan O’Reilly suffered a broken finger that put him on injured reserve, Luke Schenn is away from the team awaiting the birth of his child, and John Tavares is out with an illness.

The Devils are coming off a game they should have dominated, but they blew a two-goal in Arizona but managed an overtime win. The story from that game was that newly acquired Timo Meier skated on the second line and got his first goal quickly in his Devils debut.

The Injries will prove tough to overcome for the Leafs, especially against an incredible two-way team like New Jersey.
