New Jersey Devils vs. Colorado Avalanche

    • Leg 1: Devils ML (+110)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-130)
    • Leg 3: Mikko Rantanen Anytime Goal (+100)

The Devils have been excellent all season, but that didn’t stop them from improving. They made a big move by getting Timo Meier, who led San Jose with 31 goals. Unfortunately, he won’t play tonight due to an upper-body injury.

That does not mean they’re short of playmakers. Jasper Brett and Nico Hischier have 49 goals between them, Dougie Hamilton is one of the best-scoring defensemen, but it’s all led by Jack Hughes and his 74 points.

Anyone who counted out the champs will need to apologize. They’ve been on a fantastic run going 14-2-2 recently, and are just two points from the top spot in the Central. Alexandar Georgiev has been great in the crease, winning five straight and allowing two goals in his last three games.

They have a lot of talent sidelined, but Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen are holding it down—these two have a combination of 15 goals and assists in the last ten games.

This will be a fun matchup to watch. The last game was close, and I think we’ll see it again.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Edmonton Oilers

    • Leg 1: Maple Leafs ML (-125)
    • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-105)
    • Leg 3: OVER 3.5 Total Maple Leafs Goals (+110)

The Leafs are more determined than ever to overcome that haunting playoff drought.

They were very busy during the trade deadline. This week they picked up defensemen Luke Schenn, Erik Gustafsson, Jake McCabe, and forward Sam Lafferty. Don’t forget they previously grabbed Ryan O’Reilly and Noel Acciari.

The Oilers also made some changes by dealing Jesse Puljujarvi, and made a big move and improved the blue line by acquiring Mattias Ekholm.

The focus has been on Connor McDavid’s magical year. For the first time, he has a 50-goal season and is just the fourth different player to accomplish this in the last ten years.

Even with the moving pieces, both teams have outstanding forward units, but Edmonton has struggled all season defensively. I like Toronto to win, but they will have to score a lot to do it.

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Vegas Golden Knights

    • Leg 1: Hurricanes ML (-135)
    • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-150)
    • Leg 3: Under 1.5 Total First Period Goals (+100)

The dominant season by the Bruins has taken away the shine of how good the Hurricanes are. Only Sebastian Aho averages a point per game, but this roster runs deep with ten double-digit goal scorers and leads the league in Expected Goals Percentage.

This is also one of the more dominant defenses overall. Good luck getting through a blue line allowing 26.4 shots per game, with Antti Raanta and Frederik Andersen allowing the second-fewest goals this season.

The Golden Knights had a stronghold on top of the Pacific, but now they could see themselves dropping as they were tied with the Kings.

They have lost some heartbreaking games recently. Two of their three losses came with a lead under a minute left, allowing the tying goal, and they would lose in a shootout.

Adin Hill and Laurent Brossoit have done well in Logan Thompson’s absence, but they’ve seen little offensive support recently, including being blanked by Colorado.

Bad timing to see Carolina and the Canes have fewer losses on the road.
