Philadelphia has committed to running the ball to start 2021. They average 162 yards per game on the ground. QB Jalen Hurts is contributing to that trend, rushing for 144 yards himself already. This offense has lacked explosiveness over its last 18 games dating back to last season. In 2020, they mustered fewer than 21 points per game, and through two weeks this year, they stand at 21.5 points per game. The Eagles are hoping their young QB can be the playmaker they have desperately lacked and help exploit an undermanned Dallas defense on Monday night.
Dallas is firing on all cylinders in 2021. QB Dak Prescott looks fully recovered, and WR Ceedee Lamb is blossoming into a game-changer. The passing attack has amassed 612 yards, helping the offense rank fourth in total yards with 870 in two games. Unfortunately, the schedule makers have done them no favors, with two abnormally long weeks between their first three scheduled games. Yet the ‘Boys are the favorites to win the NFC East in 2021.

The Cowboys will be happy to open Jerry World, as this is their first home game on the schedule. They should come out attacking the depleted Philly d-line and set the tone early. The 3.5 is vulnerable to a back door cover, but it feels more likely Dallas’ lead will be large enough to survive that late Philly score.
