Saturday's Best MLB Player Prop Bets: Red Sox vs. Royals

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

    Alex Bregman Over 1.5 hits/runs/RBI (-105

Alex Bregman entered the weekend leading the Red Sox in nearly every statistical offensive category, including batting average (.318), home runs (9), RBI (30), on-base percentage (.392) and hits (48).

Bregman has just two hits in a small 10 at-bat sample size against Royals southpaw Cole Ragans, but one of those was a home run. However, we are high on Bregman’s output because of his five walks compared to one strikeout against Ragans, which suggests he sees the ball well out of his hand.

Bregman was picked up because of the damage he was projected to do at Fenway Park. But his road numbers (.342/.390/.618) trump his numbers at home (.293/.393/.573) so far. And while his slugging percentage was 223 points lower against left-handed pitchers than righties entering the weekend, we are covering our bases with this hits/run/RBIs play in case he does not hit for power.
