A pair of future Hall of Famers will (potentially) go at it Sunday in Green Bay as the Seahawks quarterback makes his return to action following finger surgery. Unfortunately, their guy is a bit more questionable for the Packers as the earliest Aaron Rodgers would be cleared from COVID is Saturday.

Overview
After a diagnosis of potentially missing as many as eight weeks, Wilson is expected to suit up Saturday after missing just four following finger surgery from an injury on October 8th, missing just three games with the Seahawks bye. Losing two of three, backup Geno Smith picked up a big win vs. Jacksonville on October 31st, keeping the Seahawks alive despite a record of just 3-5.
Rodgers’s absence confirmed what many already knew; Jordan Love just isn’t it. In his first NFL start last week at Kansas City, Love threw for 190 yards, one touchdown, and one interception as the Packers put up just seven points on the day, losing 7-13 to end a seven-game winning streak.

Bottom Line
Based on the line movement we’ve seen throughout out of the gates this week, it’s increasingly clear a return of Wilson is all the sharps needed to back the visiting Seahawks this week. Opening at -5.5 and coming all the way down to -3, I agree with where the money is headed and am grabbing the points while I can.
Even if Rodgers does go, which seems 50% at best, I don’t expect the same Rodgers we’ve seen the past few weeks as he ramps back up to his pre-COVID production.
