The UFC brings us a long-awaited heavyweight title rematch this weekend. Current champion Stipe Miocic will take on former champion Daniel Cormier in the duo’s third fight atop the heavyweight rankings.

This fight is a true toss-up. Both of these fighters haven’t re-entered the octagon since their duel last August, a fight that Miocic won by knockout in the fourth. But Cormier had gotten the better of Miocic before, however, as he knocked him out in one round back in 2018.

I’ve got to lean Cormier in this one. He’s the consensus betting favorite, and he’ll have a chip on his shoulder after his loss last August. No sportsbook favors Miococ, and William Hill even has him at longshot plus-money odds (+145). When it’s a toss-up, I tend to trust the sportsbooks, and so I’d tap Cormier with your $1 wager.
