Special Offer: Free 2020 Election Prize Pool for $100,000 at DraftKings

It’s an election year, and it’s the first one since the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Murphy v. National Collegiate Athletic Association (2018). That decision overturned a federal law that had effectively banned sports betting in the U.S.

So with sports betting entering the mainstream, it’s only a matter of time before sportsbooks can legally offer lines on the other great American competitions — elections. While it’s not legal yet, the folks at DraftKings have put together a free $100,000 contest for this year’s race.

Promotion Details

To enter, head over to DraftKings’ “Pools” section and select “Free $100k Pool: Presidential Election.” Once you’re there, get prompted with a series of 12 questions. You must pick a candidate to win each of those races, and players with the most correct predictions will split the $100,000 pool. New and existing users can participate.

A lot will change between now and November, but it’s a good idea to keep an eye on FiveThirtyEight’s national polling average. The website gave Trump a better chance than most heading into Election Day 2016, and I err toward their analysis when making my election predictions.
