College Football Same Game Parlay Picks: Syracuse vs. Florida State
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Syracuse Orange at #4 Florida State Seminoles
- Leg 1: Syracuse +17.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: LeQunit Allen Over 56.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
- Leg 3: Jordan Travis Over 242.5 Passing Yards (-114)
Syracuse started the season off well, going 4-0, but they've been demolished by Clemson and North Carolina, losing by a combined 71-21. Florida State is currently bound for the CFB Playoff, but they've had a couple of close calls by going to overtime against an unranked Clemson and almost blowing a two-possession lead against Boston College. FSU is excellent in many aspects, but they're having trouble stopping the run and are 76th in rushing yards allowed per game, along with eight rushing touchdowns. This is why Cuse should stay competitive in this game and cover.
LeQuint Allen has taken over the backfield for the Orange after being behind Sean Tucker last year. He's been an adequate replacement with 4.6 yards per carry and seven rushing touchdowns. The ground game is how Syracuse will have a chance at an upset, so Allen will see plenty of carries.
Jordan Travis is fifth in Heisman odds on most sportsbooks. He's having a great season as he is one of four quarterbacks in the FBS (Caleb Williams, Bo Nix, Kyle McCord) to have a 158 or better passer efficiency rating and only one interception. This is an excellent matchup for him against Syracuse, that's 83rd in passing yards allowed per game.
