Tampa Bay is back on track. After suffering back-to-back losses they have since rolled out four straight wins. At 44 years old, Tom Brady continues to dominate the game as Betting Pros has him the favorite to win the MVP. The Buccaneers could be playing this week without their lead running back as Leonard Fournette deals with an ankle issue. They still have so many options in the passing game, along with Ronald Jones as the backup runner, but you can’t say, with how hot Fournette has played lately, that it doesn’t slightly hurt not to have him.

The Saints have gone into a tailspin since the loss of Jameis Winston as they’ve lost five of six, and that one win was against the Jets. The question is still out on whether or not quarterback Taysom Hill can be the future quarterback for New Orleans. He’s proven he can move the ball with his legs, but he still hasn’t shown to be a reliable passer.

Trends

  • The over is 14-11 in the Buccaneers’ last 25 games on Sundays.
  • The over is 14-2  in the Buccaneers’ last 16 games with an Over/Under between 44.5-48.5.
  • The over is 6-4 in the Saints’ last 10 games.
  • The Saints are 15-4 against the spread in its last 19 games on the road on Sundays.

Overview

Brady has been salivating for this revenge game as he threw a crucial pick interception in their previous matchup to seal the Saints win. This year, the Bucs’ secondary has not been good, but the defensive line is still top-notch as they’re allowing the third-fewest rushing yards per game. That will put Hill at a significant disadvantage, and he’ll have to rely more on the arm to move the ball, which we know isn’t his strong suit. A double-digit spread in a division game is still scary, the best bet will be taking the total, I trust Brady and company to go big in a statement game, but New Orleans. will contribute a little.

Pick: Over 46.5
