Top 3 MLB Player Props & Bets: Tuesday (6/10)
From an MLB player props perspective, some of the sport’s biggest names have accomplished big things recently. Within the last couple of days, Aaron Judge had his fourth multi-home run game of the season, Pete Alonso moved into second on the Mets’ all-time home run list, and Andrew McCutchen became the third active player with 2,200-plus hits.

Tuesday's Best MLB Player Props & Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Pete Alonso Over 0.5 RBIs (+135)
Pete Alonso has eight home runs and 23 RBI in his last 14 games, and he leads the majors with 61 RBI this season. Alonso just passed David Wright for second place on the all-time Mets home run list.
Alonso’s season comparison from last year to this year through the first 66 games of the season is eye-popping. Through 66 games last season, Alonso was batting .235 with 14 home runs, 16 doubles, 32 RBI, a .315 0n-base percentage, and a .463 slugging percentage. This season, he is batting .301 with 17 home runs, 20 doubles, 61 RBI, a .396 on-base percentage, and a .594 slugging percentage.
We are getting good value on this prop for the MLB RBI-leader, as Alonso is just 2-for-15 in his career against Nationals southpaw MacKenzie Gore. But one of those two hits was a home run, and given the successes that those hitting in front of him have had getting on base, Alonso should have plenty of opportunities to drive in a run even by making an out.
Max Fried Under 2.5 earned runs (-165)
The Yankees could not have asked for a better pitcher to be taking the mound tonight after a disappointing end to their series in a loss against the rival Red Sox on Sunday.
Max Fried has made seven starts this season following a Yankees loss. The team is 7-0 in those starts, while Fried has pitched to a 0.57 ERA over 47 innings. He has also held opponents to a .146 average with zero home runs allowed.
Kansas City has not exactly been an offensive juggernaut of late, scoring two or fewer runs in four of its last eight games. The Under has also cashed in 68.4% of New York’s games against AL opponents this season, and I expect Fried to play his part in helping that be the right side of the total again tonight.
Jacob Wilson Over 1.5 total bases (-115)
Athletics slugger Jacob Wilson entered yesterday’s series opener against the Angels as arguably the hottest hitter in the sport.
Prior to Monday, Wilson had five straight multi-hit games, and two or more hits in 13 of his last 19, while batting .461 with 12 RBI and 11 runs scored over that span.
Wilson entered the series with a .372 average and a 6.0% strikeout percentage, while the MLB averages for both categories were .244 and 22.0%, respectively. In addition, Wilson’s 93.6% in-zone contact percentage was the fourth-best in the majors, while the MLB average was 83.0%.
There is a jaw-dropping comparison to Wilson’s 67-game start to this season versus Ichiro Suzuki’s first 67 games of 2001, a year he won both the AL MVP and Rookie of the Year. In 2001, Ichiro batted .352 through the first 67 games, with a .380 0n-base percentage and .474 slugging. Through 67 games this season, Wilson was batting .372 with a .408 on-base percentage and .528 slugging.
Until Wilson cools off, I am jumping at the opportunity to back his player props, while pegging his total bases prop as the best value tonight.
