Texas Southern vs. Jackson State: Texas Southern -115

(6:00 PM ET tip)

The Texas Southern Tigers are 5-9 on the season, but with a win over Florida, you can easily see the potential in this team. The Tigers don’t shoot all that well, hitting just 31 percent of threes and 48 percent of shots inside this season. However, the Tigers can dominate the offensive glass, and that should be the difference in this game.

Texas Southern will get more second chances and will defend so much better than Jackson State in this game. Jackson State is shooting an effective field goal percentage of 43.2 percent while hitting just 29.9 percent of threes and 42.4 percent of shots inside.

Against Texas Southern’s lanky defense, it will be difficult for Jackson State.

Delaware vs. Northeastern: Northeastern +100

(7:00 PM ET tip)

Northeastern hasn’t won a game since December 7. But I think that changes tonight against Delaware, at home. Delaware, like Northeastern, doesn’t defend all that well. Teams are shooting an effective field goal percentage of 50.5 percent against Delaware, and the Blue Hens aren’t all that effective on the glass.

On the other hand, Northeastern has limited opponents to just 23.5 percent offensive rebounds and has continued to limit the fouls as well. Those two areas will be crucial for Northeastern to snag this win. They’re not the better offense, but Northeastern will do all of the little things to stick around in this game and eventually win it.

Wyoming vs. Nevada: Wyoming +3 (-120)

(8:00 PM ET tip)

The Wyoming Cowboys have just two losses coming against solid teams like Arizona and Stanford. Other than that, Wyoming has been perfect. Meanwhile, Nevada has had its ups and downs this season, with six losses through its first 14 games.

Wyoming is shooting an effective field goal percentage of 54.2 percent while hitting 57.9 percent of shots from inside the arc this season. The Cowboys will also take plenty of threes, and although they shoot 32.8 percent from deep, Nevada hasn’t defended the three all that well this season, giving up 35 percent of threes on the year.

Meanwhile, Wyoming is the much better defense, holding opponents to a 44.3 percent effective field goal percentage. Wyoming should also be able to get to the line more frequently. You also don’t have to worry about second chances, as both defenses have been pretty solid cleaning up the glass this year.

The one area Nevada has done well is on the foul line, where they’re 77.9 percent from the line. However, again, Wyoming has limited teams at the line this season, and that should continue moving forward.
