Top College Basketball Picks for Sunday, March 13th (2022)
We’re now just hours away from the 2022 March Madness bracket being finalized, as five more teams look to lock in their selection with wins. The Ivy League Championship will get us started at 12:00 PM Est, with the Big 10 rounding things out this afternoon.
Let’s take a look at two matchups I’m keyed in on.

Texas A&M vs. Tennesee: Texas A&M +6.5 (-110)

An underdog in every game of the SEC tournament so far, the #8 seed Aggies will look to do the unthinkable and win the whole thing today. One of the hottest teams in the country, the Aggies have now won seven straight (7-0 ATS), and have held teams to 64 points or less in three of their last four.
They should meet their match today on the defensive front, as the Volunteers allowed opponents just 63.3 points per game this season. With the Volunteers taking both regular-season matchups, I like for the Aggies to carry their momentum into this one and do enough to keep it inside the number.

Two of the highest tempo teams in the country will square off this afternoon in Indianapolis, as the 5th seeded Hawkeyes (83.3 points per game) take on the 3rd seeded Boilermakers (80.7 points per game). For Purdue, their tournament play thus far has been adequate, knocking off Michigan State and Penn State but failing to cover either game.
In Saturday’s win over Michigan State, the Boilermakers also sunk to just 0-4-2 ATS in their last six following a straight win, and 1-9-1 ATS in their last 11 overall.
For the Hawkeyes, one of the fastest teams in the country, their dominance was put on display in game one this tournament, putting up 112 points on Northwestern in what was a conference tournament record. With Purdue getting the better of this matchup in the two regular-season games, I like for the red-hot Iowa offense to do enough to get the job done. In fact, I am calling for an outright Iowa win.
