Top College Basketball Picks for Sunday, November 28th (2021)

With 50+ games to choose from on Sunday’s college basketball slate, there’s plenty of noise to parse through to find the value which ultimately exists. While NFL will dominate much of the betting action, let’s take a closer look at the college hoops slate and

Here are my top favorite plays for today.

Kansas vs Iona: Kansas -13.5 (-110)

(1:00 PM ET tip)

Coming into this one off of their first win over a top-1o opponent in 40+ years, the challenge gets even steeper for Iona as they now draw #3 Kansas. In what will be a consolation game in the ESPN Events Invitational in Kissimmee, FL, both teams will be fighting complacency in this one in a game that could very well still end up having post-season implications.

Led by the 1-2 punch of two future NBA ballers in Junior Joseph and Tyson Jolly, Iona is going to be a problem for their MAAC opponents all season long. In this one, however, I like for the Jayhawks to be just too much led by a host of NBA talent themselves.

Miami-Florida vs Alabama: Miami-Florida +10.5 (-110)

(6:30 PM ET tip)

Another consolation bracket game will go off after Kansas/Iona in Kissimmee when Miami plays #9 Alabama. After the Crimson Tide lost to the aforementioned Iona on Thursday, they responded well beating Drake 80-71 the following day.

For the Hurricanes, point guard Charlie Moore is just one of multiple grizzled veterans on this team, who won’t be intimidated by anyone when ACC play begins in the coming weeks. Moore is complimented by swingman Kameron McGusty who leads all Miami scorers with 17 points per game, and I think makes the difference in this one.

Stanford vs Colorado: Stanford +5.5 (-110)

(7:00 PM ET tip)

In a rare November conference game, the Stanford Cardinal will head east tonight to play the Buffs in Boulder. The Cardinal have had a tough go of it to start, losing to Santa Clara in their second game and then getting blasted by #6 Baylor last week.

For the home Buffs, a neutral site loss to Southen Illinois is their only blemish thus far, as they come into this one off of consecutive wins. While their record might be nearly flawless, the Buffs have failed to cover in five of their first six games.

I like for the Cardinal to stay within the number in this one.
