Top MLB Parlay for Tuesday, April 19 (2022)
We’re back with another week of parlays in the MLB. Last week, we hit one parlay of the three given out. That’s what we call profit!
The weather really isn’t up to par right now for betting but we’ll tip-toe around the poor weather and try to find three areas we can attack that won’t be affected as much.
Here’s our April 19 MLB parlay.

New York Yankees (-210)
This is the game where Gerrit Cole is going to break out. He’s allowed three home runs in two games, with both games being at home, in Yankee Stadium. A change of scenery is necessary and now the Yankees will take on the Detroit Tigers on the road. The Tigers only have two reliable bats between Austin Meadows and Akil Baddoo against righties. However, neither of those two have really gotten off to a hot start this season.
The Tigers have lacked offense against righties and facing Cole won’t help their case. On the other hand, the Yankees have a lineup that could be really sharp against the lefty Tyler Alexander. Against lefties, dating back to last season, the Yankees have a .210 ISO and wOBA of .349. Aaron Hicks, Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, Giancarlo Stanton, and Josh Donaldson all have very good numbers against lefties.
Bet: Yankees (-210 at DraftKings)
St. Louis Cardinals (-120)
Jesus Luzardo looked unhittable in his first start of the season. Luzardo had 12 strikeouts for the Marlins and absolutely dominated the Angels in that game. He allowed just one run through five innings and just plowed through hitters. However, he didn’t get a single ground ball when batters made contact.
Luzardo was highly inconsistent last year and still has a 4.83 xFIP with 10.5% walks dating back to last season. He’s still been awful against righties, allowing a .373 wOBA and ISO of .257.
The Cardinals will bat nine right-handed batters. Combined, this Cardinals lineup has a .247 ISO and wOBA of .347 against lefties dating back to last season. There’s so much potential for the Cardinals bats and with Adam Wainwright on the mound, I’m confident that the Cardinals can get the job done, on the road.
Bet: Cardinals (-120 at DraftKings)
Milwaukee Brewers (-260)
This game between the Brewers and Pirates is just a complete mismatch. Corbin Burnes will take the mound for the Brewers. Since last season, he has had a 2.64 xFIP with 35.3% strikeouts and 5.6% walks.
On the other hand, J.T. Brubaker will get the start for the Pirates and he’s allowed a 4.48 xFIP with 8.1% walks.
The Brewers lineup isn’t all that special but against Brubaker, the Brewers should be able to add some runs via the long ball. Against righties, the Brewers have power potential out of Willy Adames, Rowdy Tellez, Hunter Renfroe, and Tyrone Taylor. All four of those guys smacked righties well last season for high ISO power numbers.
So grab the Brewers as the final leg of the parlay.
