Top MLB Parlay Odds Picks for Wednesday, June 1 (2022)

Our parlay was looking great last night until the Atlanta Braves lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Don’t you just hate when the most probable winning leg on your parlay becomes the one loser? Brutal stuff!

Anyway, we’re back again looking for a parlay winner for the week. Let’s get right to it and start June off with a bang.

(Odds courtesy DraftKings)

Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets

The Washington Nationals will send Evan Lee to the mound for today’s game. He’s a left-handed Double-A prospect getting a spot start for the Nationals because they had a double-header last weekend.

Lee is a 15th-round draft pick, and if he’s like all of the other Washington pitchers, the Mets should have plenty of success.

The Mets have scored 23 runs in two games against the Nationals and scored the most runs in team history in May. With Carlos Carrasco on the mound, the Mets will look to sweep the Nationals on their home field. It’s going to happen.

Bet: Mets (-250 via DraftKings)

San Diego Padres vs. St. Louis Cardinals

The San Diego Padres will send out Yu Darvish for today’s game. He’ll go up against a much worse opponent in Dakota Hudson.

Hudson has a 5.36 xFIP in the last 30 days with 9.8% of strikeouts and 12.5% of walks. While he is getting a high amount of grounders, he’s still allowing plenty of runners on base and a BABIP of .321.

The Cardinals have the better lineup. But as long as Darvish can get through Nolan Gorman and Paul Goldschmidt, he’ll be successful. I’ll ride Darvish as a short favorite against Hudson any day.

Bet: Padres (-125 via DraftKings)

Atlanta Braves vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

The Braves have lost two straight to Arizona on the road and have now fallen to 10.5 games back in the NL East. It’s been a miserable start to the 2022 campaign for the former champions, but today the Braves might get some life.

Atlanta has destroyed left-handed pitching and will get their crack on Madison Bumgarner later today. The Braves have a .236 ISO and wOBA of .341 in the last 30 days against left-handed pitching. They’re also walking nearly 15% of the time in the last 30 days.

On the other hand, Bumgarner has allowed a 5.73 xFIP in the last 30 days with just 15.2% of strikeouts. He’s also been lucky with a BABIp of .234. That’s certainly not going to last.

Plus, with Kyle Wright on the mound, the Braves should be able to avoid the sweep in Arizona. Wright has limited power and limited weighted on-base averages to both sides of the plate recently.

Take the Braves to salvage the series.

Bet: Braves (-155 via DraftKings)

Parlay: (+314 via DraftKings)
