Top MLB Parlay Odds & Picks for Wednesday, May 11 (2022)

Yesterday didn’t go exactly as planned. It was a swing and a miss. But we haven’t struck out yet. We’ve got another opportunity today to win a parlay this week. So let’s get cooking. Here’s what I’m liking for Wednesday, May 11 in the MLB.

(Odds courtesy DraftKings)

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds

The Reds will pitch Vladimir Gutierrez. He’s 0-5 with an 8.86 ERA to start the season. He just allowed seven runs to the Brewers on May 4 and will now take on the Brewers after that disaster of a performance.

The Brewers have plenty of reliable and consistent bats in the middle of the order and although Adrian Houser hasn’t been elite this season, the Reds have a bunch of rally killers at the bottom of the order. There’s just no trusting the Reds and their pitching staff this season.

The Brewers continue to find ways to win every night. The lineup isn’t always appealing, but with Rowdy Tellez heating up, things are looking bright. Take the Brew Crew.

Bet: Brewers (-200 at DraftKings)

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Seattle Mariners

Because the Phillies pitching staff caught COVID, Zack Wheeler and Zac Eflin are unavailable to pitch. With that said, it’ll be Bailey Falter on the mound for the Phillies today. Falter has a 5.49 ERA in his career in the majors along with a WHIP of 1.22. This year, he hasn’t been great either, allowing an xFIP of 7.55 with lower strikeouts than walks in a small sample size.

With Logan Gilbert on the mound for the Mariners, this game is just a complete mismatch when it comes to pitching. Gilbert is earning 23% strikeouts and while walks are a bit high, the Phillies aren’t walking all that much against righties to begin with.

Bet: Mariners (-150 at DraftKings)

Baltimore Orioles vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Spenser Watkins will take the mound for the Orioles tonight. Watkins has an xFIP of 6.01 with the same amount of strikeouts as walks, at 10.3% each.

Watkins has been awful against righties, allowing a .426 wOBA and ISO of .313 in 56 plate appearances. The Cardinals, on the other hand, are very right-handed with six or seven righties in the lineup tonight. The Cardinals haven’t been that great against righties this year, but when they face a guy like Watkins, things should turn around in their favor.

On the other hand, Miles Mikolas has a 3.91 xFIP to start the year for St. Louis. He’ll take the mound tonight with 22.1% strikeouts and 4.1% of walks this season. This is a huge pitching mismatch and with the Orioles putting together an ISO of .115 and wOBA of .299 against righties with the projected lineup, I’m ready to back the Cardinals at home.

Bet: Cardinals (-220 at DraftKings)

Parlay: (+263 at DraftKings)
