Top NBA Prop Picks for Wednesday, April 13 (2022)
After two Play-In Tournament games yesterday, weâll be getting two more for tonightâs slate. The two games will feature the 9 and 10 seeds in the East and the West, and whoever wins these games gets to take on the first place in their respective conference.
The Charlotte Hornets will take on the Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta, and the San Antonio Spurs will take on the New Orleans Pelicans in New Orleans. It will be an action-packed Wednesday night in basketball, and weâve got you covered with the best prop picks for these games.

Hornets vs. Hawks: LaMelo Ball 38.5 Points, Rebounds, Assists
If the Hornets are going to compete in tonightâs game on the road, LaMelo Ball has to be that guy. Ball averaged 20.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game. Ball can do it all on the court and pad the stat sheet with his ability to score at will.
In the last three games, Ball has scored at least 24 points while also earning nine assists in each of those three games. Lately, Ball has been red hot from deep, continues to rebound at a high level, and is passing at an extreme rate. Ball is going to have a monster game.
Bet: LaMelo Ball Over 38.8 Points, Rebounds, Assists (-120 at FanDuel)
Hornets vs. Hawks: LaMelo Ball 3.5 Three-pointers
Letâs continue to attack Ball overs. Ball is shooting 53.7% from deep in April and is taking over eight threes per game in the month. If he takes eight threes, he would be on pace for four threes in this game.
Ball isnât afraid of the spotlight and isnât afraid to chuck up a bunch of threes. Plus, if heâs feeling it, heâll continue to chuck away; heâs had games with 14 three-pointers attempted. The shots will be there, and as of late, the percentages have been there. Iâm a big fan of LaMelo Ballâs props for tonightâs Hawks and Hornets game.
Bet: Ball Over 3.5 Three-pointers (-138 at FanDuel)
Spurs vs. Pelicans: Jonas Valanciunas 12.5 Rebounds
The Spurs and Pelicans game should be fast-paced with plenty of shooting. The Pelicans either scored many points in a game or allowed many points in a game, and thereâs no in-between.
Thatâs why I like Valanciunas to bring down at least 13 boards. In March, Valanciunas averaged just under 12 rebounds per game but stayed out of foul trouble in every single game. He had a couple of poor performances on the glass but overall had many games where he had more than 12. In a game like tonight, in a do-or-die situation, Valanciunas will be grabbing rebounds at an extreme rate for the Pelicansâ off misses. Plus, offensive rebounds count too!
Bet: Jonas Valanciunas Over 12.5 Rebounds (+102 at DraftKings)
