Top NFL Teaser Picks for Week 15 (2021)

If you followed our teaser last week, you won some money. Our teaser last week consisted of the Saints +.5, Ravens +8.5, and Packers -5.5. The Ravens and Packers did give us a sweat earlier in their games but came back in time to cover the 6-point teasers.

Every week, we’ll share our favorite picks for a 6-point basic teaser in the NFL in this article. It’s also smart to play numbers that make sense. You need to cross key numbers to gain value. Those numbers would be 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, 17.

Again, here’s a teaser betting guide from Jason Katz via BettingPros if you aren’t familiar with Teasers.

Leg #1 Patriots +8.5

The Patriots are on a long winning streak. New England is a minor underdog against the Indianapolis Colts on the road. The Patriots will have to play in a dome and won’t get a snowy field or anything like that, but still, can you see the Patriots losing by double digits in this game against the Colts?

I can’t.

I actually like the Patriots to win this game outright on Saturday night. The offense and defense for the Patriots have been the most consistent in the league. New England can ask Mac Jones to do just about anything, and he’ll do it well.  The Patriots have minimized turnovers and continue to produce takeaways on the other end. So yeah, let’s take the Patriots +8.5 as the first leg.

Leg #2. Texans +11

The Jaguars haven’t scored more than 14 points in four of their last five games. Now with former head coach Urban Meyer fired, the public thinks the Jaguars are just going to get miraculously better? I understand Meyer did some terrible things with the Jaguars and should’ve been fired, in my opinion. However, he does have a better resume than most coaches in the league. Therefore, I don’t think the Jaguars will be that great offensively moving forward.

The roster needs to improve before anything else. In the meantime, the Texans have named Davis Mills the starter for the rest of the year. He could help bring a spark to the Texans’ offense. I’m not saying Mills is the savior, but I do think the Texans find some success offensively with Mills under center against the Jaguars.

Leg #3. Bengals +8.5

It’s been a rough go-around for the Bengals this season, but if we’re getting 8.5 points, I’m feeling confident. The Broncos don’t score all that much. Denver averages 21.2 points per game on the season. While the Broncos only allow 17.5 points per game, they’ll have some trouble against a Bengals team that is still scoring 27.2 points per game.

The Bengals have been hot and cold all season. With two losses to the Chargers and 49ers, it’s time for the Bengals to get hot again. The Bengals are only allowing 93.1 yards per game on the ground this season, and ultimately, if the Broncos don’t run the ball well, they’ll fall into third and longs for Teddy Bridgewater to dig themselves out of.

I’ll ride this game out with the Bengals and think they can win this game outright on the road. Actually, I believe all three teams I’ve given out in the teaser can win outright!
