Putting the game against Notre Dame aside, Army has looked fantastic this year. There is no surprise with Army's offense; they will run the ball. They led the nation with 604 rushing attempts, 97 more than the next team, but it's not like the volume was why they led in rushing. Their 5.6 yards per carry is sixth in the nation. The problem could be that Tulane has been a fantastic run defense this season, allowing only 4.1 yards per carry and 34th in yards allowed per game. Tulane will play a balanced offense, and the way we saw Notre Dame break off big plays is what the Green Wave can do. You have to remember they were considered a potential playoff team before their loss to Memphis, and it's because this team can score easily. You saw what Notre Dame did to Army and Navy, well, Tulane beat Navy 35-0. The Green should come away with that AAC championship.

Game Total
Bettors new to the hobby can be confused by spreads, but game totals are simple. Every football game has a total posted for the combined final score between the two teams. Bettors have the option to choose the OVER or UNDER, generally at -110 odds (risk: $110; win: $100). So if the total is 42 and you take the OVER, you need 43 points to win the bet. But because it's safer to take them straight-up without points, you'll have to risk more when you make the bet - remember, they're seven points better than Illinois in the eyes of the oddsmakers. In this case, Cal is -280 on the moneyline, so if you want to win $100, you have to risk $280. On the flip side, moneyline bets can be valuable when taking the underdog because it's a riskier bet - they're seven points worse than their opponent. In this case, Illinois is the underdog - +220 on the moneyline. You'd win $220 on a $100 bet if you picked Illinois on the moneyline and they pulled off the upset.
