    Utah vs. UCLA

Cam Rising is finally not in the mix at quarterback. Instead, Utah's QB job belongs to former New Mexico QB Devon Dampier. He'll enjoy a veteran offensive line with five returning starters to work behind and some solid receivers. However, his accuracy is lacking (57.9%), and he threw as many interceptions as touchdowns last season (12).

However, all eyes on this game will be interested in seeing how one player performs: former Tennessee QB now with UCLA, Nico Iamaleava. He's got a solid group of receivers to work with, and the backfield should be much improved this season.

I'm not sold on Dampier being the answer for Utah. He'll be a solid addition to the run game behind a massive offensive line, but he's not much of a passer. Nico Iamaleava, however, is a great passer and has great weapons at his disposal. With the Bruins’ defense making life hard for Dampier, Iamaleava will have time to work out the kinks. If he doesn't lead UCLA to a win, he'll keep it close.

    Pick: UCLA +5.5 (-110)
