Overview
In what was another benchmark win of the Lane Kiffin era, the Rebels took down #11 Texas A&M last week (29-19) in a contest that their defense more than rose to the occasion. Allowing just 20 first downs on the day, the Rebels stymied a potent rushing attack, as their offense did its thing per usual putting up 500+ yards on the day.
As the season has gone on, Rebels quarterback Matt Corral has continued to build on his accomplishments, as his name now is being floated in multiple postseason award conversations in addition to the Heisman trophy.
For perennial SEC bottom-dweller Vanderbilt, things have been just as bad this year as they’ve lost five straight now to bring their SEC record to 0-6. A const carousel at quarterback hasn’t helped the situation much, as Ken Seals and Mike Write have split time between injuries and a lack of competence.

Losers of now 19-straight in the SEC, which includes two losses to the Rebels, things have reached a seemingly bottom for the Commodores. In addition to a defense that ranks near the bottom of the country in every major statistical category, the Commodores offense ranks 111th or lower in total yards, rushing yards, and passing yards per game; in addition to ranking #128 in total points scored at just 15.1.
In this one, I think we see the Rebels run up the score in a game they need to get all the style points they can.
