Commonly found under the Player Props > Players Specials section at sportsbooks, the NBA player combos (or “player prop specials”) take the traditional prop market one step further with higher payouts to hit an inflated “over” on multiple player-focused bets. This can be hitting multiple stat category overs or multiple players of the same stat category.

The key to multiple player-focused bets, of course, is similar to parlay betting: You have to hit all of them. Let’s dive into a couple of examples.

What are some examples of NBA player prop specials?

As an example, the Grizzlies visit the Celtics. In the NBA player prop specials section, a bettor can get +1200 odds for correctly predicting Jayson Tatum goes for 35+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 6+ assists. While this would be a monster game for the young guard whose regular points total is just 29.5, the bettor would be paid handsomely for their risk.

Another NBA player prop specials angle you can wager on is multiple players exceeding a certain point total. As an example, while Tatum and Ja Morant’s point totals are set at 29.5, Desmond Bane’s is set at 17.5. In the NBA player prop specials market, a bettor can get +750 odds if all three exceed 25 points.
