Portland Fire vs. Washington Mystics
Shakira Austin has five First Baskets in 16 games this season, which is good for a 31.3% cash rate. She has also scored first in four of her last 11 games.
No other player today, on either team, has more than two First Baskets or cash rates of greater than 14.3%, with Washington's Kiki Iriafen (+551) scoring first twice in 14 games. Portland’s Megan Gustafson (+1280) and Emily Engstler (+660) each having two in 19 games (10.5%), respectively. Gustafson’s return is enticing, but Austin makes it hard to believe she’ll get a chance.
Austin has twice as many First Baskets this season as Iriafen, Gustafson, and Engstler, and it takes all three’s total to best Austin by one. That discrepancy makes it all the more wild it took this long for her return to be juiced below +400.

Minnesota Lynx vs. Dallas Wings
Paige Bueckers has four First Baskets in 17 games this season, which is good for a 23.5% cash rate. She has also scored first in two of her last five games and three in her last 10.
No other player today, on either team, has more than two First Baskets or cash rates of greater than 11.8%, with Minnesota’s Nia Coffey (+990) and Dallas’ Azzi Fudd (+1160) each having two in 18 and 17 tries, respectively.
Bueckers has as many First Baskets this season as both Coffey and Azzi combined, but is somehow still returning +553. Wild value, but like I always say: Vegas' problem, not ours. Bet accordingly.
Additionally, Fudd scored the first basket in the last game and has scored the first team basket for Dallas in two of the last six games, so her 11.6x return carries value, too.
