Kelsey Mitchell Over 22.5 Points (-106)
Minnesota is supposed to be this great defensive team, but they have been anything but such in recent games. Good? Yes, as they have held teams to an average of 87.2 points over their last five games (fourth-best). But "good" is not going to be enough to slow down this Indiana offense - especially Kelsey Mitchell.
Mitchell has been on an absolute roll. She has gone over this total in 11 of her last 12 games and averaged 27.3 points per game in that stretch. I'm not betting against Mitchell until someone actually stops her.
Paige Bueckers Over 21.5 Points (+100)
The Dallas offense has been lacking the last couple of games but should get a boost playing at home against a lackluster Connecticut Sun defense allowing 89.8 points per game on the road (10th in the league).
Paige Bueckers has gone over this total once in her last three games, but nine times in her last 12, including a 25-point night against the Sun on the road. Guards are averaging 48.2 points per game against the Sun this season.
One of the best in the game should have no problem exploiting such a defense at home.
Bridget Carleton Over 13.5 Points (-110)
Bridget Carleton has averaged 14.1 points per game this season, but has stepped up her play in recent games, averaging 17 points over her last five. She's gone over this total in three of her last four games and in five of the last 10. Carleton should benefit from playing one of the worst defenses in the WNBA.
Teams have averaged 96.2 against the Sparks in the last five games. Carleton scored only seven points against the Sparks on June 8th, but has become a much larger part of the offense since then.
Kayla Thornton Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (-130)
Toronto has been struggling on the defensive end, especially on the perimeter. Teams have averaged 10+ made threes against them over the last five games. Kayla Thornton is shooting 34.6% from deep this season and has made two or more threes in half of her games, including her last four.
Thornton hit a trio of threes against the Tempo in Toronto on July 8th. She'll get at least two today.
