WNBA Player Props & Bets: Sunday (8/23)

If you enjoyed watching and betting on yesterday's WNBA triple-header, then you'll love today's four-game slate. Four games, of course, mean lots of star power on the court and a lot of potential when it comes to betting on WNBA player props. With so many great players expected to play today, it was not easy to narrow the list to a few markets.

But these are my picks for the best WNBA props of the day.

Sunday's Best WNBA Player Props

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Paige Bueckers Over 20.5 Points (-132)

Paige Bueckers is averaging 20.3 points per game this season and has gone over this total in four of her last five games. Seattle has been struggling on the defensive end, allowing teams to average 93+ points per game over the last 10.

In those 10 games, five players went over this threshold. As the leader on a team that has yet to secure a playoff spot, I'd expect to see Bueckers step her game up in the regular season until they do.

Kelsey Mitchell Over 24.5 Points (-125)

Before putting money down on this prop, be sure to check the official injury report. I wouldn't be shocked if the team gives Kelsey Mitchell the day off, as this is the second game of a back-to-back.

But until they turn in an injury report, we have to assume she'll play. If she does, Mitchell has gone over 24.5 points in nine of her last 11 games, including a 27-point night against the Sky on August 8th.

Bridget Carleton Under 14.5 Points (-104)

Bridget Carleton finished with 19 points in her last outing but has gone under this total in 20 out of 35 games this season. She has hit the over in six of her last 10 games and in one of two games versus Washington this season.

The Mystics have been playing lockdown defense for weeks now, though. With hopes of securing a playoff spot sooner rather than later (and possibly a higher seed), they aren't going to slow down now.

A'ja Wilson Under 26.5 Points (-122)

Normally, I'm all about the over for A’ja Wilson when facing a Tempo squad that's been allowing over 96 points per game over its last 10. Toronto has five players on the injury report today, too. However, Wilson has exceeded this total only twice in her last eight games. Despite their defensive struggles, only two players have cleared this number against Toronto in their last 10 games.

I wouldn't be shocked if Wilson got the day off or didn’t play long enough to score 27+ points against an opponent her team should have no trouble beating.
