Tuesday’s Best WNBA Player Props & Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Paige Bueckers Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-114)
New York’s defense is formidable when at home. But there’s no denying that Paige Bueckers is playing at an MVP-level right now. She's gone over this total in her last six games, scoring 20+ in five, averaging just under five rebounds, and dishing out between four and eight assists. It’s tempting to go with the over on her points (21.5), but the Liberty defense deserves some consideration.
That said, Bueckers is contributing enough in other ways to make up for scoring a little less and still go over this total.
Breanna Stewart Over 19.5 Points (-114)
Dallas held Breanna Stewart to 14 points earlier this season in New York, and she has gone over this total just eight times in 20 games this season, including just twice in her last eight games.
But Dallas does not play great defense on the road (91.2 points allowed per game). Stewart is coming off a 36-point night versus Minnesota and scored 25 against the Aces in the WNBA Commissioner's Cup title game.
As long as she takes her shots (14.9 field-goal attempts per game), Stewart will go over this total.
Kahleah Copper Over 20.5 Points (+100)
Because of that half point, Kahleah Copper has gone over this total in five of her last seven rather than in six out of seven. However, she is facing one of the weaker road defenses today in Chicago (88.8 points allowed per game).
Copper hit the under when these two teams met earlier in the season (14 points on May 15th). But Copper has been on fire lately, three straight games of 27+ points, and there is no reason to think the Sky can slow her down.
At plus-odds, this may be the best value play of the day.
Valeriane Ayayi Over 18.5 Points + Rebounds (-112)
Valeriane Ayayi is averaging 7.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game in limited time this season. But she has been playing between 20 and 28 minutes in her last five games, and the extra time has been paying off.
Ayayi scored 18+ points in four of those five games and recorded between two and 10 rebounds. Her point total is nice and low at 12.5 points, but the price for the over is a little high.
Instead, I'm going with the combo prop to give us a little wiggle room on her scoring in hopes that she can make up the difference with a few additional rebounds.
