WNBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Friday (June 20)

There are three games scheduled in the WNBA tonight!

There’s less excitement for the Wings-Sun game, with both teams totaling four combined wins. However, the other two games have lots of appeal. I’ve added a same-game parlay for the Mystics-Dream and Storm-Aces games below.

Let’s get after it with our top WNBA picks and predictions.

Friday’s Best WNBA Same Game Parlays & Picks

    (Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

    Washington Mystics at Atlanta Dream

Brittney Griner finished with only two rebounds against the New York Liberty last time out. However, she has added at least six rebounds in 60% of her games this season. She also added eight rebounds against Washington on June 15. Additionally, she’s averaged 6.1 rebounds per game in her last seven games against Washington and will face a Mystics defense that ranks 13th in total rebounds allowed to centers this season.

On the other hand, Brittney Sykes has totaled at least five rebounds in only 45% of games this season. She hit five against Atlanta on June 15, but has added no more than three rebounds in three of her last four games. Sykes is set to take on an Atlanta defense that is in the top three in rebounds allowed to guards this year. In addition, Sykes has earned at least five assists in four of her last five games. However, she’s only hit this line in five of her previous 12 games against the Dream.

Atlanta ranks first in the WNBA in assists allowed to shooting guards this season. The Dream are also second in the WNBA in assists allowed overall. I’ll take a chance on the Under to close out this parlay.

Seattle Storm at Las Vegas Aces

Jackie Young has been super inconsistent this season for the Aces. She’s had multiple games with 25+ points. However, she has also had many games with no more than 12 points this season. Ultimately, Young has scored no more than 15 points in her last two games and just added nine points against the Lynx last time out. The shot volume is there, however, she’s hit just 42% from the field in the previous ten games and will battle a Storm squad that ranks second in the WNBA in points allowed to shooting guards this season.

On the other hand, Skylar Diggins has recorded at least six assists in three of her last four games. She’s also hit this line in eight of her last ten games against the Aces, averaging nearly seven assists per game in those ten games. In addition, the Aces rank 10th in the WNBA in assists allowed to point guards and rank 12th in the WNBA in assists allowed overall. Diggins has turned the ball over no more than twice in each of the last three games. We’ll trust her in this spot.

Finally, Jewell Loyd has nailed at least three three-pointers in three consecutive games. In fact, she’s taken at least eight three-point attempts per game in her last three games. She’s also nailed 41% from three over her last ten games and has played more than 30 minutes a night over the last two games. Let’s take advantage of Loyd’s hot shooting.
