Washington comes into this game riding a three-game winning streak with victories over Dallas, Minnesota and Las Vegas. In the last week, they've had the highest rated defense in the league (78.3 points per game allowed) while averaging 84.3 points per game. Dallas may have played a valiant game against a good Indiana team, but the Mystics have been playing great ball all week.
If the Mystics can pick up where they left off after their big win versus Las Vegas, they should win easily today.
As for Kiki Iriafen's prop, I like to bet on the combo because it gives players the chance to make up for a bad night in one category with a good night in the other. A good but not great night in each category will also be sufficient. Iriafen had 19 points and seven rebounds the last time these two teams met. She has gone over this total in her last three games.

Going down 20 early to the Fever last night was not good, but the Wings things turned around and even took a late lead, only to fall short in the end. The in-game adjustments were impressive. With three wins in their last five games, the Wings could be ready to turn a corner. Beating Phoenix is no big deal, but wins over the Valkyries and Dream are good, solid victories.
Today should be a close game, considering how both teams have been playing lately. However, Dallas will have an edge with Brittney Sykes and potentially Jade Melbourne out. If Dallas is going to win, Paige Bueckers will need to have a day. She has scored 20+ in four of her last five games, but the team will likely need to get a little more out of her to get the win. Bueckers had 27 last night against Indiana.

Like Citron, Shakira Austin's shot volume has gone up quite a bit over the last week. Since the June 20th game versus Atlanta, she has taken 17, 16, 18 and 12 shots. The only game where she would not have covered the over was Thursday's win over the Aces (12 shots). She is in the zone this week. Like Citron, she'll benefit from Sykes’ absence and get the shot volume she needs.
Paige Bueckers has scored 20+ points in five of her last seven games. The key? I'm going to sound like a broken record here, but it's shot volume. In the seven games since her return, she has taken 15+ shots in every game. The more shots a talented young player like Bueckers gets, the quicker she acclimates to the WNBA game. If recent results are any indication, it’s working.
