2025 Belmont Stakes Crudo Odds, Picks & Predictions

With the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes in the rearview mirror, it’s time for the 2025 Belmont Stakes. The final jewel of the triple crown, the Test of the Champion is typically the longest of the three races at a full 1.5 miles. However, the 2025 version of the Belmont Stakes will run at the historic Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., rather than Belmont Park, for the second year in a row, as renovations continue at the race's usual home. That means the distance is being shortened from 1.5 miles to 1.25 miles due to the difference in track circumference. Below, we take a look at the current Belmont Stakes odds, post position, and expert advice for Crudo.

Crudo Belmont Stakes Predictions

  • Post Position: 5
  • Odds: 15-1

Crudo could bring some much-needed value to Belmont tickets. The 15-1 long shot is co-owned by Bobby Flay who stood in the Winner’s Circle in Belmont Day back in 2016 with Creator, also trained by Todd Pletcher.

Speaking of Pletcher, over the last 20 years, there have been 60 horses that have finished 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in Triple Crown races. Of those 60 horses, 16 have finished in the money, accounting for 26.7% of the placing horses at the Belmont over the past two decades.

Crudo is a must-include in exotics.
