2025 Belmont Stakes Heart of Honor Odds, Picks & Predictions
With the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes in the rearview mirror, it’s time for the 2025 Belmont Stakes. The final jewel of the triple crown, the Test of the Champion is typically the longest of the three races at a full 1.5 miles. However, the 2025 version of the Belmont Stakes will run at the historic Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., rather than Belmont Park, for the second year in a row, as renovations continue at the race's usual home. That means the distance is being shortened from 1.5 miles to 1.25 miles due to the difference in track circumference. Below, we take a look at the current Belmont Stakes odds, post position, and expert advice for Heart of Honor.

Heart of Honor Belmont Stakes Predictions
- Post Position: 8
- Odds: 30-1
Heart of Honor got his career off to a solid start with a win in his first race in Dubai (12/6/2024). He ran in three additional races in Dubai from Jan. 24 through April 5, finishing in second place in each.
The 2025 Preakness Stakes was his first race in the U.S. and it didn't exactly go well. he got off to a slow start and never really recovered, finishing in fifth 8 3/4 lengths back. It was easily the worst finish of his career. He showed some speed in Dubai, so maybe if he can get a better break out of the starting gate, he could surprise some people.
If what the experts are saying is true, a middle-of-the-pack finish is the ceiling for him. But I don't know if I'd pick him to finish fourth against this field. Maybe taking him to show is not a bad idea.
