Champions League Round of 16 Leg 2 Odds, Picks & Predictions (2026)

The Champions League Round of 16 concludes this week, as eight teams look to secure positions in the quarterfinals. Five of the eight matchups have aggregate margins of at least three goals, while two matches are tied, and the final contest sees Galatasaray carry a 1-0 lead into Anfield against Liverpool.

We went undefeated with last week's bets, and I'm looking to close out the Round of 16 with a few more winners. Here are my favorite Champions League picks for Leg 2 of the Round of 16.

Champions League Round of 16 Leg 2 Preview & Best Bets (2026)

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Manchester City (-230) vs. Real Madrid (+500), DRAW (+450) | O/U 3.5 (+105/-130

It was a first-half Federico Valverde hat trick (20', 27', 42') that propelled Real Madrid to a 3-0 home victory over Manchester City last week. Los Blancos are -650 favorites to hold off Manchester City (+400) and advance to the next round. Kick-off is scheduled for Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET from Etihad Arena in Manchester, England.

I don't expect Pep Guardiola's men to go down without a fight on Tuesday, especially since they'll return to Manchester and have their home fans behind them. Will they pull off the comeback? I don't think so. But I do anticipate seeing some fireworks as they attempt to climb back into this one. Manchester City has scored two or more goals in its last eight home matches.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid built on its 3-0 victory over Manchester City this past weekend, cruising past Elche 4-1 in their La Liga match. They've now seen three or more combined goals in five of their last six matches in all competitions. Considering all of the star talent in this match, I think a fourth goal will be possible. Speaking of star power, Kylian Mbappe (knee) could return in this match as well. Let's play the over.

Bet: Over 3.5 Goals (+105)

Arsenal (-370) vs. Bayer Leverkusen (+950), DRAW (+500) | O/U 2.5 (-145/+115

Bayer Leverkusen nearly notched a 1-0 victory over Arsenal in Germany last week, but Arsenal's Kai Havertz buried an 89th-minute goal from a spot to salvage a tie. The Gunners are -750 favorites to take care of business at home on Tuesday, while Bayer Leverkusen comes back at +475 to pull off an upset and move onto the quarterfinals. Kick-off is slated for 4:00 p.m. ET from Emirates Stadium in London, England.

Unlike the Manchester City-Real Madrid contest, I'm not expecting much scoring in this one. Both defenses have been superb this Champions League season. Arsenal has allowed only 0.56 goals per 90 minutes (first), while Bayer Leverkusen isn't much further down the list in 10th place at 1.36 goals allowed per 90 minutes.

Bayer Leverkusen just held Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw over the weekend, and they've now seen fewer than 2.5 goals in seven of their last eight matches in all leagues. If their defense can hold up and play relatively well, it's going to force Arsenal's elite backline to stay just as engaged. I'm willing to wager that Leverkusen's defense will hold up, as they haven't allowed a non-set-piece goal in four consecutive Champions League matches. If you like defense, this game is for you. Let's lock in the under.

Bet: Under 2.5 Goals (+115)

Bayern Munich (-280) vs. Atalanta (+600), DRAW (+475) | O/U 3.5 (-120/-105

It was a vintage Bayern Munich blitzkrieg in Italy last week, as Vincent Kompany's squad smashed Atalanta 6-1 in Bergamo. The second leg gets underway on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET from Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

If you haven't seen the news yet this week, Bayern Munich is having a substantial goalkeeping problem. Their top four goalies in the system are all injured, which means there's a good chance they'll call upon 16-year-old Leonard Prescott from the U19 team to play keeper. Even though Atalanta has struggled offensively this Champions League season, I think they'll at least sneak one or two past the juvenile goalkeeper.

Even if Atalanta can't muster up any scoring, there's always a chance that an offensive juggernaut like Bayern Munich can net four goals themselves. They've been the best offense in the Champions League this season, averaging three goals per 90 minutes. In all leagues, the Bavarian-based club has seen four or more goals in six of its last nine contests. Bayern's averaging 3.7 offensive goals per match at home dating back to their Bundesliga opener in August. Give me the over.

Bet: Over 3.5 Goals (-120)
